View Full Version : Is your clock out of whack?
The subject title says it all. I know I'm in a different time zone, but I don't think it's THAT different... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif

Gail-
our servers are in the EST time zone and my test just reflected the correct time there. So, I guess it's been fixed. If you see that it's not on your end, let me know.
Thanks again.
MC
Now, I'm just testing, too. I'll let you know if there's still a problem. It was very strange yesterday.
Yep. It's still off. I'm going to post this then call to get the official PDT time off the phone.
According to the recording, it'2 12:26 pm

Yep. I'ts ok now.
Gail- can you verify?
Sorry. I was out and by now you're probably gone. It's about 3:00 here. Let's see what your clock says when I post.
Close enough. I'd say it's fixed.
Thanks. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
An hour-and-a-half later, I just had a thought. Down at the bottom of the entries it says all times are CT (US) I assumed that was supposed to mean Central, but the clock always has seemed to be Eastern. Am I misinterpreting? (Maybe CT actually stands for Cooking Time? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif )

I live in Chicago, Central time, and the clock was always an hour ahead (before the switch to the new server 2 days ago). I always assumed it was due to the computer not switching to Daylight savings time or something (but that doesn't actually make sense either, because in the fall, you set the clock back an hour, which would have put it 2 hours ahead instead of one hour). Anyhow, I am looking at the clock on my computer which says 12:02 p.m. - we'll see how it comes out now...
Nope, it's still an hour ahead. So your sign on the bottom that reads all times CT (US), should really be ET (US)!! Otherwise, it's right! Thanks
