View Full Version : I'm not using foul language-- honest!
This is too funny. Apparently your censor does not allow the common word used when trying to describe the action of stabbing something (ie pie crust) with the tines of a fork. At first I just couldn't figure out why my recipe had ***** instead of said word!

That is funny. If that word becomes very important to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our posts here, I will certainly put it back in!
Now I'm curious to see how you described the pricking action... I've just gotta look.

Now that's strange. It censors out ***** but not pricking (as in pricking a pie with a fork!)
Hmmmmm. I'm going to have to look at the censored word list a little more closely!

I'm testing the word ******** again.

How about the past tense?-- as in "Mary pricked the pie crust all over"? And I wonder why the censor never called us on all our talk about chicken breasts?
Sorry... English teachers always have to butt in on language problems! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Would you believe that since I posted this message to you, I got bleeped again in a different recipe for the same word? (Not my wording, either. I was copying recipes...)
By the way, I take back what I said about not using foul language. One of the recipes, after all, was about duck.
