I would LOVE to join (start) a supper club in Cincinnati. Cooking and entertaining are two of my greatest passions. Hope it is not too late :)

Well, now we have two of us, we're on the move.

Well Bren Blaine. I can't believe that in a city that likes food so much we can't find more takers:confused:

I agree. There should be 10s - 100s that would like to have fun. I live in Downtown, and with all the new residents in downtown it should be easy.

I don't live downtown, but not too far. I live in Anderson and I work downtown. Maybe if we do something with a football theme - tailgating perhaps - we could draw more interest ;)

Do a search for other Cinci area threads in this section--some of them have barely started (the clubs) and you might be able to get in to them. I just met last night with 4 other women who are starting one, although I opted out bc I really don't want to drive that far (I am in Oxford).

Hi Cincimom,

Thanks to the last post, I did find another thread that seems to have been initiated by sally1999 and includes alb2, dmselak, 2yellows, and supernatural.

Tailgating sounds like a great idea..... for someone else since I don't really relate to sports.

Bren,

Thanks for the info. I checked out the other threads. Seems that most are in the north or west side of town. I would be interested, but would prefer something in the east side, downtown or NKY.

I would really like to find something, since I am a single empty-nester and don't have anyone to cook for. :( Most times I will just eat a big lunch at work and then snack when I get home.

Tailgating was just a suggestion, since this town is crazy about sports (me, just football and the Olympics every other year). Autumn food and soups/stews would be fantastic once the weather cools off. Various ethnic cuisines could also be great. Oh, don't even get me started on holidays ;) I'd even be up for celebrating National Potato Month or National Broccoli Week.

Hope to hear from somebody
