I received this email from Ginny, a registered BB user, who has had computer problems and is being denied access to the BB. I don't have a lot of suggestions to offer her, so we're hoping you can give her instructions on how she can get back on the board. Thanks in advance for your help!

"Grace,
Forgive me for this sort of request, but I've run out of all the possibilities I could think of to get help --- and I remembered your kind help when I asked about Master Cook as a new member on the Cooking Light "good food" bulletin board.
My problem is the result of a computer crash about 3 weeks ago. After a profesional got my computer running again, I found I had lost all my old Internet connections , including AOL. I was able to contact AOL and re- register my account there and now I am in the process of trying to restore all my favorite places (ie. CL,etc.).
I find I am unable to sign on to the CL "community" . When trying to sign on using my old registration info ( name and password), I am denied . The message I get says "that name is already in use". I tried to register under a new user name, but was told "that address is already in use".
I have sent 3 e mails to CL customer service, but none were answered. And I can find no other way to link ( connect) to CL.
Would you have any suggestions ? Or would you be able to forward this letter to the Tech help site for me (I am denied entry there, too, of course) ?
I am embarassed to ask this of you , but don't know where else to turn.
Even if you cannot help, thanks for hearing me out.
Ginny 177 (Vmbaily@aol.com)"
