problems with search

I tried to search for messages posted under a user name (mine actually) and the only result was a post I just made a few minutes ago. Now I know I have posted more than that (and everyone else on the board can vouch for that as well http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif ). Then when I tried to do the search another way, searching for the word pizza, I got hits for August of 2000 and then the hits skipped to February of this year. Again, I'm sure that there were posts between August and this month that included the word pizza. Anyone know what's up. Probably this is connected with the other problems people have been experiencing.

...not that I actually know the answer, but it appears there's some mass archiving of old threads going on today. Since this appears to be "in process," perhaps it's temporarily causing strange phenomena with the search mechanism.

BTW, I was just about to post on this same subject and suggest we rename this board to "Gail's Question of The Day." I'm glad NOT to be the one asking, for a change... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

thanks to all of you for pointing out the freaky things you notice... the more feedback I get from you, the better. And Gail, I'm happy (kinda) when you point out problems. If you are seeing something wrong, then there are probably others seeing the same problem but just not reporting it.

There is going to be some weirdness till we figure out what the problem is. At least we can post today. (Knock on wood...)
