e-mail notification

Why is it when I check-off for email notification it doesn't happen? It says you have to be a registered user which I thought you had to be to post. So I'm assuming that I am.
Am I wrong? If so, how do you go about this. I do like this feature and would like to use it.
With the BB so fast these days sometimes I forget which I even posted!

The only reason I can think of is that the format of your email address is not correct. Your email address as it is listed, begins with www. which in most cases is the beginning of a web address, not an email address. It's not impossible to have an email address that begins with www. but I am guessing that this bulletin board software is reading the email address you have entered as being improperly formatted.

Maelynn- Thanks, that was the problem. I changed my profile e-mail address and now it's working.
