Wide messages

It has started again. More and more posts are coming out wide on the screen. I asked about it once before and I didn't understand the answer that was given but I haven't changed any preferences but more and more I can't see the whole message w/out scrolling to the right. What's up with that and is there a way to put it back?

Maelynn, look under a new posting - black bean recipes. That one is wiiiide.

That thread has a post by Jewel in it that has a really long web address listed. When you paste a URL in like that, it can't be broken into two lines or else there's a chance it won't work. So the software puts it all on one line which stretches out the width of the thread.

This will also occur if someone would use an image wider than the normal width of the page.
