Wish me strength

Tomorrow is the visitation for my father, then Saturday is the funeral. This will be difficult. I've been through this before (close family have passed away), but it doesn't make it easier, just more predictable. I've chosen my outfits, bought a pair of black funeral shoes (dressy, but not showy) and done lots of yoga. Then once it's over, I'll have to pick up my life and move on, which will be difficult in a different way.

Thinking of how terribly sad I was at that time in my life and feeling terribly sad for you, as you do this journey. There are no words to asuage the feelings of grief that you have right now .... Just hang on to the precious good memories to sustain you.
