I recently bought myself a locket, and I'd like to put photos in there of DS and DH. Not having attempted this since my crush on Donny Osmond in the second grade, I'm not sure how to go about it and have it look decent. Any tips?

You can make different sizes on your computer and use the one that fits the best. I put these pictures in a bracelet for my wife. I converted color pictures to black and white to give the bracelet a nostalgic look.

Awww, that's so sweet, Gumbeaux! :) Major good points there, I'm sure.
How did you get the photos in the little frame, exactly? I think I can get it sized correctly and the oval cut out reasonably well, but I'm not sure how to cram the photo into the frame itself without bending or scratching it. My locket is an oval and the place the photo fits is concave, with a tiny lip surrounding it to hold the photo in.

I practiced using a blank piece photo paper until I felt like I was good enough to try a photograph. I placed one side of the photograph in place and used a push pin to gently flex the photograph until it would fall in place. The pierced edge of the photograph doesn't show because it is behind the holder.
Use the "practice" piece of paper as a template to cut the actual photograph the perfect size.
