Only 32?

I'm suprised that there are only 32 of us going. And it seems like some of the 32 will be tag-along husbands. I guess a lot of people backed out when it really came down to it.
Anyway I'm looking forward to the trip, all the activities, and meeting everyone! Not long now!

I am really excited about the weekend! I have been looking for something like this for a long time. As one of those who had to back out, I have to say I'm sooooooo jealous. Right now, it just wasn't in our budget for me to spend the money--we're planning on going to London to visit my brother next year so most of our travel budget for this year and next year is going for that. I hope you all have a wonderful time and I can't wait to hear reports (and hopefully read about it in a future issue).

I, unfortunately, was a bailer too....... I was so looking forward to meeting everyone, but with DH's school and all of the things that are included therein, we've decided to put our vacation into a mountain theme in North Carolina later in the summer......

But I do wish I could be there. I will be there in spirit.......raise a glass for me please!!!!

I too will be there in spirit. It broke my heard to have to back out. It just wasn't financially feasible and such a long way to go for 2 days. You all have a wonderful time. I am looking forward to hearing about it.

I'm one of the people who had to back out too. Believe me, I think that most of us who backed out would dearly love to be going. Circumstances just weren't quite right for many of us. As for my situation, my boss is paying for all of us (and spouses and kids) to go to Captiva Island in Florida for the weekend. This was one of the only weekends for everyone available. While I would love to be going to Birmingham, I certainly was not going to turn down a FREE trip to Florida. It's a small company (only 8 people) so it wasn't really an option to say no.
