A few more questions

What time is everyone arriving Thursday? I remember some talk about cocktail hour at the hotel.

I am staying with one of my friends and she typically works late so I may just swing by the Embassy Suites when I get to B'ham.

Where do we meet on Friday? I am familar with the Southern Progress (is that still what it is called?) building.

I am planning on attending everything on Friday, but I am not sure about Saturday.
My friend and I are also painters and we get together to paint on these weekends. I think we are both several commissions behind.

OH! I am also one lucky dog. My supervisor is letting me take Friday as an 'education' day as opposed to a personal vacation day! One of the few perks in the perk-less job of being a dieititan!

I am looking forward to meeting you, too! I work in a hospital, and I just have to say that our dieticians are so awesome! I am always amazed at their depth of knowledge! I tease them that they are walking CDRoms!

My DD would like to be a dietician (and work at CL!) Although she says that all the math and science courses "scare" her!!!

Anyway, regarding the cocktail hour - good question! I would like to know what time everyone is meeting, too. Maybe Maelynn knows what time and where in the hotel the cocktail time is - and we can plan accordingly?

We are arriving in B'ham early (before 11 am). We will probably check out the town a bit and get settled into our room.

I am getting SO excited! This is going to be SOOOO fun!

I haven't checked with the hotel, but I stayed in an ES in Feb, and the "happy hour" was 5-7. Drinks were free with limits, I think you were allowed two per hour or something like that. I don't know how closely that was monitored but it was a nice treat anyway!

About arrival time, we are traveling from near Charlotte, NC so I am not sure how long it will take to get there. I am guessing about 6-7 hours? We will be there mid to late afternoon, I think. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gifI would also like to meet everyone!

We'll be driving all day and should arrive about 4 or 5pm. Could we plan to hang out at the happy hour until 7pm or so? If there's a good view of people checking in, early arrivals can make bets as to which are the CL people. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif
