I accidentally picked up a bag of the PB cups, and threw them out - the banana flavour is SO fake tasting. But, I'm not a huge fan of fake banana flavour anyways....

FI came home with a bag of the Raspberry M&M's this weekend. They weren't bad ... larger than a usual M&M, but flatter. Like the size of a Junior Mint. And very, very pink. The taste was, unsurprisingly, of artificial raspberry -- but like a raspberry truffle, not like blue raspberry candy.

Ewwwww....raspberry M&M's....you can have my share. I love the plain old orginal M&M's just like the original Oreo's. There are some products that should leave alone. I did try the Reese's Elvis and couldn't taste any banana. In our home Elvis will always be alive!:D

I'm with you- I'm a candy purist. "Plain" M&Ms, Oreos, Hershey bars (no almonds, mint, cookies & cream...), original Kisses, chick and bunny Peeps, etc.

Then you might like these kisses, since the reviews claim they taste very little like candy corn. http://www.typetive.com/candyblog/item/candy_corn_kisses/
I've seen them at Target, but not in any other stores yet.

Right there with you. What IS it about banana flavoring - it's nasty! I unknowingly bought a cereal once that used fake banana flavoring - I had to throw it away.
I also dislike watermelon flavoring - yuck. I can't do cherry either because all I can think of is cough medicine. The kids love to get Cherry Coke when we got to the movies because they know I won't touch their drinks. :D

Mmm, I'm also a big fan of the fake banana flavoring. Banana runts are the bomb. :D

LOL too. I second (third) that sentiment.
I'm going to edit your post, aggie. I think it should read: Worst. Candy. Ever. :p

Yuck to all the new candies! I don't think I could bring myself to try any of them. I'm not a big candy person to begin with but all those crazy flavors just aren't for me. I had heard about the Elvis candies a while ago and kinda shuddered at the thought. So, a big "no thanks" from me!

I like the fake banana flavoring but don't like candy corn. We went to a parade over the weekend and DD got some candy from there, and I ate the banana Laffy Taffy :o I don't eat it very often, but it is good.
I saw the raspberry M&Ns and picjed up a bag, but I remembered how bad the very artificially flavored raspverry kisses were and put them back. I'd be willing to try them if they had real flavors, but not anything like those kisses. They were a good idea done very bad.

In my store today I saw Cherry Cordial Hershey Kisses. I LOVE cherry cordials!! I didn't get a bag though. I'm not an impulse shopper but now I'm regretting it.

Hmmm... that review said the kisses taste like the Buttered Popcorn Jelly Bellies... one of my very favourite flavours. And fake Confectioner's Candy Stuff. Yum! Complete Cr#p!
I think I'd like these. Too bad they'll probably never cross the border.

I had one of the new Mint Dark Chocolate 3 Musketeers today and thought it was excellent. The mint taste isn't as strong as in a York Peppermint Patty, (a good thing imo), and the filling is nice and light and fluffy.

I saw an ad for those on a grocery cart one night and had been looking for them. When I finally spotted them, I bought a couple for my son -- who likes chocoalte mint and Three Musketeers. I don't know what happened to them! I forgot about them, and I don't think anyone has tried one yet.

Put me in the candy corn lovers group!
Both light and dark candy corn; yellow and brown ears of corn; little green and orange pumpkins; chocolate bats!
(Now I'll have to pick some up at the store tomorrow!)

Did you notice they are about half the size of the original 3 Musketeers? Not a bad thing - I can get a sugar fix for fewer calories!

I honestly didn't notice. I'm not a fan of the original 3 Musketeers. But I thought the mint one was plenty big and satisfying.
I am a PB fanatic so now I am going to search out the Reese's PB Whipps! I've never heard of them till now -- what are they?

Not having eaten one yet, it looks to be a whipped PB filling, maybe like a nougat, covered in chocolate. Looks like a 3 Musketeers on the wrapper, except PB of course. Here's a mini review from this candy blog (http://www.typetive.com/candyblog/):
Reese’s Whipps ... I can go on and on about how I feel when marketing folks spell things oddly, but I won’t. The initial description made me think of a peanut butter 3 Musketeers, but there’s a bit more going for it here. The center is a nougat-style with a light peanut butter taste and a nice hit of salt. That is then covered in a thin layer of a crumbly peanut butter fudgy thing and then the whole thing is enrobed in mockolate. I’ll have a full review of that in a week or two.
As a die-hard PB fan, I just had to buy it when I saw it in Wal-mart this afternoon!

Man they had me up until "mockolate"...

If it was "mockolate-y", I didn't notice since there wasn't much chocolate on it anyway. Very PB-y, though. There's a thin layer of PB just inside the chocolate shell, and then a fluffy PB nougat layer in the middle that makes up the bulk of the bar. Not having had a 3 Musketeers in at least 10 years (not crazy about them), I can't compare the textures. But this was fairly light, slightly chewy, and slightly grainy (but not in an off-putting way). I liked it enough to eat the whole bar, and would eat others if they were given to me, but I doubt I will seek them out when I want a PB/choc candy. That's mainly because I prefer the texture and PB/choc ratio of a PB cup (any kind, not specifically Reese's) over the Reese's Whipps. But they were good and worth trying if you're a fan of the Reese's line.
Speaking of which, I heard they're bringing back the dark Reese's PB cups.
