Unbelievable! I'm wondering if CL is doing something different with their production schedule, but I received the October issue yesterday! It's at least a week earlier (I was thinking it was two, but just looked at the calendar ) I feel like I just started making headway in the Sept. issue, now here is another one!
I don't have it with me, but Fall is the theme throughout. Also an article on how to get more fiber in your diet (this was a topic on another thread I read yesterday that I thought could be helpful), soups, stews, apples, etc. I sort of feel like I was reading an extension of Sept., as I feel they pretty much covered it in that issue, but it was still fun to read. At first glance, I didn't find too many recipes that piqued my interest, but that was just my first go-round. ;)
I have noted they have started to have lots of "menus," as well some "grocery lists" for some recipes. I feel like it's making cooking more simplistic, but I believe they're probably doing this for people who want to cook but are also quite busy. I don't know, but something about those pieces rubs me the wrong way. Also sort of felt like Bobmark did a few issues ago; design-wise, too much going on on one page.
Can't wait to really get into it!
