So DH and I are going to see Genesis in Cleveland at the Q at the end of September, and are trying to decide what to do about parking. Ticketmaster is offering parking for $12 right at the arena, but we aren't sure what else is in the vicinity...are how soon before the show we could get into the parking area (we'd like to park and have dinner before the show).
Anyone from Cleveland, or with Cleveland experience, or with Ticketmaster parking that can help?
Thanks

There is alot to do in the vicinity of the Q, known as the Gateway District. Many restaurants and bars. Jacobs Field is right next to the Q (Cleveland Indians) and they are both connected to Tower City Center, where there is a Hard Rock Cafe and many shops, etc.
As for the parking, the Ticketmaster route may not be bad, because day of event parking can easily run $20. I would call the Q to see how early you can enter the lot. Otherwise, there are many city lots down in the vicinity if you want to arrive early and can't park in the Q lot yet.
I hope that helps.
Agree with everything Jennkristy said! I think the $12 parking deal sounds great.
Have fun!
