Arrival times?

What time are y'all getting there on Thursday? (Or Friday). I'm trying to decide what time to leave work on Thursday, so I was a bit curious as to when everyone else would be showing up.

Our plane arrives at 2:55pm on Thurs. So by the time we get to the hotel and checked in we hope to met everyone at the happy hour. I believe that's 5 to 7pm. Can't wait!!

There should be a packet for every attendee at the front desk of the hotel. Would you like for me to put a sticker or something in the packets to help you find each other? Or is that a bit geeky?

It's a shame the hotel doesn't have a board where we could write our names on it and say we have arrived and what time we arrived so we could get together if we wanted to and maybe go to the gardens or something...

We are arriving at 9:30 a.m. Figure we should be at the hotel by 10:00 a.m.

We are arriving at 4:30, and will head to the happy hour after check in. We look forward to meeting you all! Cindy R, Lauren G, and Cindy H. Maelynn's quesiton of how we'll recognize each other brought back memories of last August when our dinner group meet for the first time in a restaurant. How did we spot each other? We were the ones with the Cooking Light magazines, of course!

Maelynn- The sticker idea sounds good and not so geeky after hearing the chef hat idea! LOL Plus, we all have to be a little geeky the way we can talk about food!!
Anyway I have no idea how many people will be at this cocktail hour and the idea is to meet up with everyone. So we have to do something! Is the block of rooms that CL got for us together?

OH I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!! This is the FIRST time in FOUR DAYS I have been able to access these boards!!!! LOOOOONG (SAD! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif ) story - I will fill you all in in person!!!!

But anyway, our flight arrives Thursday morning... approx. 10:15 am. We will probably spend the day checking out Birmingham, but are definately planning on the "get-together" between 5 and 7 at the hotel!

Lisa-
If you are meeting them for happy hour on Thursday then you can pick up your packet from the front desk then. If not, we'll pick them up Friday lunchtime and bring them back here to CL. That way, if anyone still want theirs, we'll have them here. But - your sticker (a gold circle) will be in the packet at the front desk if you want it.

David & I hope to leave Atlanta around 4:30 or 5:00 which should put us there around 7:00-7:30 with the time difference. Hopefully you will also still be happy houring or maybe in the restaurant. We will get our stickers on and hunt you down.

I totally forgot about the the time difference! Yvonne, wouldn't you be there, then, about 6-6:30? It only takes about 2 1/2 hours to get there. Or am I missing something?
