As we write this, we are still in Birmingham. We leave tomorrow, and we are really going to be sad to see this wonderful weekend end!

THANK YOU, Cooking Light, for such an awesome event! We are still smiling! All the hard work and thoughtful generosity made every detail so special... we appreciate it so much.

It was so fun to meet one another, and we are sure that some life-time friendships were forged this weekend. We knew we would have a great time in Birmingham... but it truly exceeded our wildest expectations.

It was truly "southern hospitality" at its best. What wonderful memories you have given us. Again, (and I know I speak for all of us who are here!) from the bottom of our hearts, a most sincere thank you!

I have to agree with everything Lynn B. said. We enjoyed the weekend so much!!! The hard work you put into planning really showed! It was more than I ever expected!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I don't think any of us will ever forget this past weekend and I know I have made new friends!!!!! Thanks again for everything!!!!!!!!!

Everybody I met, all the food I ate, all the wine I drank and all the joking I did....What a blast! David & I both had a great time. It was so much fun to meet everybody and see CL and taste the Birmingham hospitality. Thanks CL and the rest of you foodies!

I second all of the comments you have made and would like to add that I was so impressed with the Cooking Light staff and the way everyone seemed to love their job. It is definately the type of place I dream of working. I have to thank everyone for the amount of time and effort you must have taken to prepare for the wonderful weekend I enjoyed. I am also so glad to have met everyone on the board, and will look forward, even more now, to reading all of your comments. Thanks again!!!! It was truly a memorable weekend.

I have wanted to visit CL ever since I first started reading the magazine five or six years ago, and my expectations for this weekend were extremely high. In actuality, my extremely high expectations were surpassed! I could not imagine having a more wonderful time. Or meeting more wonderful people, both from the board and the CL staff.

Thank you Maelynn and CL!! The trip had everything: it was very interesting, lots of good food, great gifts (much thanks!) but most of all the chance to meet a bunch of great people and make new friends. Lynn B As nice and sweet as she is on the boards, Lynn SC and Kathy SCgreat girls, I'm thinkig of `moving to SC to be in their supperclub (thanks for all the rides!), Elinora great lady with lots of wisdom (a woman before her time)Cindy R.if she lived near me we would be hanging out,iqueen, I don't know what she looks like without smile on her face,Laurensweet!, and everyone else!!!
It really was a trip I'd never forget!

What a blast!! I've been home for almost two days and my DH brought it to my attention that a conversation has not passed with out the CL weekend being mentioned, and what a great time I must of had. I met so many wonderful people from CL and the BB and learned so much about the making of the CL magazine, not to mention being completely awed by the southern progress building and it's surroundings. I know that the time I had at the CL weekend has become a memory that will last a lifetime and will be talked about for years to come.

CL thanks so much, everyone has already said it but I wanted to throw my two cents in...

Tony and I had such a great time (he enjoyed it and doesn't know the first thing about cooking.)

The building was absolutely beautiful and I was amazed at how the editors actually seemed interested in our thoughts and comments. The food was delicious and the CL staff could not have been nicer.

It was so much fun to put a face with the screen name of all the board junkies!
