Now that I have photos back (they're all great; everyone looks wonderful!) and my scanner finally working, I am planning to create a web site with photos from our weekend and then posting a link to it here. If anyone would prefer not to have her (or his) photo posted on the internet, please let me know, either by responding to this post, or via e-mail. I already know of two individuals who were particularly camera-shy. I just want to make sure there aren't any others.

Thanks! And everyone really does look terrific in the photos. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Sounds great to me. You are doing wonderful to have your pictures already. I have been packing for another trip and haven't been able to get to the store to put my film in. I can't wait to see them!

eggbeater,
I asked the exact same question when I was new!!! DH means "dear husband" or "darling husband", or, even, ahem... "!@#$ husband", depending on context!!!!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Ditto w/ DS (son), DD (daughter), DM (mother), DF (father), etc.
So -- are you having fun in BB-Land?!!!
Lynn

I am not only impressed that you already have pictures but that you are going to find some way to attach them to this board?? Is that what I understand? You are amazing! Bring them on. Hello to DH from me and my SO. When are you coming to Atlanta?

Y'all are making me blush. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/redface.gif

I'm not usually this on the ball. Normally I will relive a trip several weeks later when I finally finish the roll, leave it in my purse a while, and then get it developed.

I've never used a scanner before, nor have I set up a web page. I'll play around with it tonight, but it might be the weekend before it's done.

Oh, and let's hope luv2cook is posting from home and not the security guard's desk at the hotel! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif (Kidding, kidding, of course)

luvtocook- I'm glad you're stuff is OK and you made it home.
I got a laugh how you saw Tiger shrimp and thought of me. In fact I thougt it was funny how the whole weekend we found it easier to use everyone's User names instead of their real names!

SusieO,

Speaking as one of the "camera-shy individuals," though I know everyone was excited to see what we really look like, I do hope you and the others taking pictures managed to capture some of the beautiful surroundings at CL's headquarters. Personally, I'd take shots of the architecture and greenery over my jowls and undereye circles any day!

Luv2cook,

Glad you made it home safely and that your computer was unscathed. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif

hey, Tiger shrimp <just kidding> we made it home okay. They canceled our flight and then put us on another one at the same time but they didn't post it and we ran like fools to the airport after spending 25 min. on hold at the hotel.

The damage here is massive but my house, cars, etc., are okay. They're saying now it's 1 billion.

SusieO: go for it! It was terrific meeting all of you. P.S. I tried the technique we saw in the cooking demo for rolling the dough, and even measured the dough. The bread came out beautifully.

Now, where do we go for dinner this Sat. night?
