HI!

This is a bit like finding that old dress in the closet and discovering that it actually still fits, and it still looks good.

I'll try to keep the past year-and-a-half brief.

In February 2006 I quit the legal secretary thing and started a job at an internet precious metals business (still living in OKC). Unfortunately we could not play around online, and I did not have a computer at home, so I lost message board touch. :(

In May 2006 I started dating a wonderful man.

In February 2007 we decided to get married, sometime in October 2007.

In March of 2007 future husband quit his job in OKC and accepted a job in Chicago. I wholeheartedly agreed to move to Chicago after our October wedding.

In April of 2007 future husband moved to Chicago. At the end of the month we decided we could not wait until October, and we moved the wedding date up to June.

In June of 2007 (on June 30 to be exact), DH and I married in a small ceremony in OKC. Five days later I packed up and moved to Chicago.

In September 2007 I accepted a position as a legal secretary in a downtown firm.

And here I am! :o)

To sum it up, this has been a crazy but rewarding year. I'm still cooking like crazy. In fact, DH and I have been throwing around the idea of my going to culinary school. We have a Cordon Bleu certified school in the city that I've looked into attending. DH is amazed that I can actually cook (I didn't cook much for us while we were dating). Last night, after too much white wine, he tried to talk me into opening my own restaurant that he would manage.

Ha ha ha.

It's good to be back. I think I need to cruise the BB to see what I've missed and what I can jump into discussing.

**Edited to tell Sneezles Happy Late Birthday birthday buddy! Sorry I wasn't around to wish it to you on our birthday!**
