I am the host for our next supper club get-together and have decided on Thai food for the theme...does anyone know of a great source to find authentic ethnic recipes? Have looked on a few of the big cooking websites and am not satisfied with the choices so far. Anyone?

Not many of the recipes there are light!
I always have to tweak them

Some of the back issues of CL have had what seemed like more authentic Thai recipes. You might want to try one of their cookbooks too if you can find them, i.e. Five Star Recipes, The Complete Cooking Light Cookbok, and the gourmet one. Good luck!

kabs,

I'm also the the host of my next supper club meeting, and we're also planning on Thai!

I do have a great cookbook, The Best of Vietnamese and Thai Cooking, which is pretty light -- and if a recipe isn't, I just lighten it myself.

If you do a decent amount of Thai cooking, you might want to consider buying a cookbook...there's a great selection of them right now; I have a wonderful time just browsing through at B & N. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Also, check out www.asiarecipe.com (http://www.asiarecipe.com) -- it has a pretty comprehensive database of recipes from all over the continent.

Have fun!
