Hi! Just thought I'd review the menu we had here in Maryland this past Saturday.
Black Bean Lasagne--everyone thought this was very good. Two ladies mentioned how they didn't think they would have tried it because of the beans and pasta being too starchy together, but they didn't have a problem with it.
Tequilla-Lime Marinaded Flank Steak --Though I didn't have any because I don't eat beef, it looked very good. Everyone else ate it and liked it.
Avacado Salsa-- Myself and another club member are not fans of avacado, but we both agreed this was very tasty, as did the others.
Spicy Chicken and Jicama Salad-- We were all a little hesitate (especially the lady who made it) about this one, though it looked good (as well as pretty) in the picture. We decided we all liked it. Which I'm sure the chef was pleased about--she had a very difficult time finding jicama and wasn't sure she had actually found it because it looks so much like a turnip. In the end we all decided it was in fact was a jicama.
All in all a very tasty, pleasing meal!
