View Full Version : Idea for stuffing pasta shells

I saw this idea in the cooking section of the newspaper a few weeks ago. Jumbo pasta shells were stuffed with hoagie-type sandwich filling: ham, cheese, croutons, lettuce, some type of oil/vinegar dressing. There were 3 shells per serving. I saved the idea but tossed the actual recipe so I can't post it. I got the impression it was served cold or room temp so it might make a nice picnic food. I think I'll try it with CL's "A 'grape' chicken salad". If anyone else tries the idea with different fillings, I'd love to hear the results!
