I'm excited! I'm anxious to find out who the new Top Chef is. It would be nice to see Casey win because 1) I think she's a talented chef, 2) they need a chick to win for a change, and 3) I really want Hung to NOT win!!! I wouldn't mine seeing Dale win either, but I really am cheering for the chick on this one! And I'm not usually a crazy nazi-feminista!

Also rooting for Casey. Dale a close second and Hung a distant fuggedaboudit.

I'm with you!
I started watching late into the season as I haven't had cable in years and always forget about shows like this but I have enjoyed it and definitely don't like Hung.

Are they doing a reunion show tonight? Seems like they usually have a reunion show one week and then the final the next week. I haven't even checked my TiVo to find out.

The guide on my DVR says - "Finalized Part II". the finalists compete for the title of "Top Chef,"
live from Chicago.
So, I guess if there's going to be a reunion show it won't be until the whole shabang is over.

I'm actually going to DF's tonight specifically to watch the finale! (Curse not having a television ;)).
I'm also rooting for Casey. I wouldn't be upset if Dale took it either. Hung was never really an identifiable "character." He's just a bit to focused/out there for me.

Slightly OT, but if someone wants to post the results or discuss the show in progress, please start a new thread and put the word SPOILER in the thread title.
The burying of the word Spoiler in last week's thread wasn't very helpful in that I tend to come back to a thread and look at the last post first and then go toward the previous posts (Yes, I also read magazines from back to front). So burying spoiler in the middle of a non-spoiler thread was not helpful (at least for me).
Thanks.:D

I dunno. I sort of figure that if you open any thread about a TV show, you should expect a spoiler.
I avoided all Harry Potter threads whether or not they claimed to have spoilers until I was done with the book, just to be safe.
I just think that anything with the title of the show (movie, book), especially with a specific date is up for any sort of discussion. Most of us have been around here long enough to know to what to expect and we should expect spoilers.

Crap I was just on the Top Chef sales website and saw they're selling a spoiler T-shirt HERE (http://www.nbcuniversalstore.com/index.php?v=nbubrvnowtopall&pagemax=all)
Don't look if you don't wanna know...

I don't think it's a spoiler....the winner is being announced live tonight - not from tape.

Agreed. However new people may not know this. Also, the same request has been made in the past by others and we have complied. So, I think it should continue that way.

I still think it's a spoiler for those who may not watch it tonight.

Yeah, but I have grudgingly complied while rolling my eyes because it seems so redundant and repetitive......... :D ;) But yes, I supposed it's an easy courtesy we can extend for others.
If I say redundant AND repetitive, am I being redundant and repetitive???? :p

I'll be the lone person who wouldn't mind seeing Hung win, though I don't have strong feelings about any of them. Personally I think any one of them could cook circles around Ilan so I'm just glad to see a new Top Chef crowned. :)

I agree that any of this season's chefs can cook circles around most of last season's chefs.
I tend to stick to the belief that people will want to work for and with a chef. That seemed to be a real thread all through season 1. Season 2 was an anomaly IMO. I feel no-one wants to work for or with Hung.

Ahhh, I missed it, and totally forgot to Tivo :(
Oh well, I'm sure Bravo will play plenty of reruns....
