Amazon is running some mag sub specials, has anyone ordered from them, any probs?

I just noticed that Amazon is running a special on some magazines --- get $5 or $10 Amazon credit if you subscribe to certain magazines. They do offer similar specials fairly often.

Has anyone ordered from them, any issues?

My husband orders magazines through Amazon and has not had any troubles.

I have had trouble with one of those companies that you order mags from (not thru Amazon), but have had no probs with others.

One thing I have done a few times for a couple of mags, is email the mag directly and tell them that I have found a subscription for $xx (the price I have found online), and mention that I would much prefer getting the subscription directly thru the mag, is there anything that they can do. The few times that I have done it, the company matched, or almost matched the price. And, I certainly like that than going thru others.

I ordered Vanity Fair via Amazon and have had no problems. It was the best rate I could find.
