Has anyone here ever donated to this site? It looks totally legit (more research to be sure) and a great way to help our school kids. The projects look small enough to be funded by an adult Sunday school group or other group of people who want to do so. Maybe this board could choose a project to fund?

It's a legitimate program. They were recently the 2nd place winners in the American Express Members Project contest for non-profits. They've been gradually adding states over the last year. It's a really neat idea for how to get money for projects to teachers. I've been getting their emails for about a year when Indiana was added. I've also corresponded with them about a couple of ideas I had for expansion of the program. Their v.p. wrote me back, so their staff is still small!
