I'm looking for a good website for eCards. I find that I'm sending more and more of them, yet the few sites I know are lame. I think I'm finally willing to spend a bit of money, but they need to have a good selection, not send me spam, etc. And not require ActiveX downloads (like Hallmark now does)

Does anyone have suggestions?

(I think this has been discussed b4, but I couldn't find it in a search. I swear I can never find anything on this BB's archives....I must be the worst searcher ever)

TIA!

I got a really nice e-card today from this site. www.jacquielawson.com/ They are flash animated with music. She is an artist in England.

The only site I've found these days that does not require you to sign up to send a card is Amazon.

Hersheys has some really neat Halloween e-cards. I don't know about the rest of the year. So does Better Homes and Garden.

Ditto for Jacquie Lawson!

I've never heard of Jacquie b4. Will have to check her out.

I definitely want to stay away from "ad" cards from magazines or candy companies. I'd want a bigger collection.

I also haven't tried Amazon, but they don't get along well w/my Firefox browser, so might have to rule them out, too. So many technical issues :-)

After that rash of ecard spam/virus/whatever, I have pretty much quit sending ecards since people are afraid to open them. :(

Egreetings, Hallmark, and Smilebox. I love that I can personalize greetings through Smilebox (http://www.smilebox.com/designTypes/ecards.jsp?partner=smilebox&campaign=none&page=HomePage&origin=HomePage).

Ummm, I never even heard about it. Or at least I don't remember at all.

I usually use hallmark but that might require active x.

I use Care2. From time to time they send me an e-mail asking me to sign some petition and/or they ask if I want to sign one before the card is sent but you can opt out without anything happening.

And, they're free.

I use Hallmark most of the time. Not sure if it requires Active X, though.

Hipster Cards (http://www.hipstercards.com/) is a fun site. :) You can also check out The Museum of Modern Art's site (http://www.moma.org/ecards/).

Thanks for the new recommendations! I've never heard of many of these.

I checked out the Jacquie site. Her artwork is lovely, but there's not much variety. It's all sweet, lovely, pretty cards. I don't think guys would like them too much. I also like cards w/humor, which isnt her thing.

I have www.123greetings.com bookmarked. I tend to use it the most.
