My sister and brother in law recently drove through Texas and stopped in a round shaped shopping mall with one mile of circumference somewhere near Dallas Texas. My brother in law has tried locating the mall on the internet every which way but it doesn't seem to exist. It is driving him crazy. So I volunteered to ask here to see if anyone could identify the mall and give an idea as to its location.

It might help if you found out what interstate they were traveling on.

Maybe Town East mall (http://www.towneastmall.com/html/index14.asp)?

I wrote to him asking for the interstate and asking if Town East Mall could be the one. I'll let you know what he says as soon as I hear from him.

Although the mall is definitely not round, the Grapevine Mills Mall (http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1248) walkway is somewhat elliptical.

I was going to say Grapevine Mills, also. It's got a million square feet, so it's pretty darn big. Walking through it, you would think it was round because you can end up where you came in.

As soon as I read the title of the thread, my first thought was Grapevine before even reading that it was circular. :D The layout definitely brings you back to the place you began by walking in a huge circle. If it's a mall where the outside looks round, I have no guesses.

Thank you all, my brother in law if fairly certain that Grapevine Mills Mall is it.
