Every time I roll my mouse up to the IE tabs at the top of the page, I inadvertently roll over the Jimmy Dean ad that expands to fill half the screen & then starts playing music & demo. My browser is IE and I prefer IE to Mozilla--anyone know how to stop those ads in IE? Thanks!

Easy answer is don't roll over the ad. ;) :p
I notice there is a little "x" in the upper right hand corner when the ad rolls down. Just click on the x and the ad goes back.

Oh, I've gotten good at clicking the X, believe me. But I accidentally roll over it repeatedly, b/c I don't think to swerve around the ad as I head for another IE tab. Would love to deactivate it.

Oh god I hate that thing. I've been doing recipe searches on Epicurious and MyRecipes lately, and it's there too. The awful thing is that when I remember to swerve around the top banner ad, there is often another one on the right margin that catches me.

I HATE rollover ads like this, that are designed to take advantage of typical mouse pointer movements. I especially hate the ones that are bandwidth hogs by being video that starts up automatically, whether or not they are rollovers. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
