Voting: Cooking Light Bulletin Board Trip Destination

I thought it might be useful to begin a new post dedicated to voting on the destination for the proposed Bulletin Board Group Trip (for those who don't know what I'm talking about see Susann's post "An Observation").

Here are some thoughts on the best way to organize people's ideas so far on places to go. Below is a list of all places suggested so far (in order of appearance)

To keep track of people's votes (hopefully better than they do in Florida http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif), how about this as a suggestion: To vote, copy the above list into your message and place a mark like this / next to the places you are interested in. (You can vote for more than one place.) The next person should copy that list (not the one from this message) and place a / next to the places they are interested in, and so forth. This way each new message will have all the other votes in it as well and we can see a running total of the areas people are most interested in. If you have thought of a new place that isn't on this list, by all means add it and place a mark next to it.

I hope this doesn't seem too confusing. I thought it would be useful to have a running total of people's preferences for places to go.

Wendy - So sorry to hear about your loss. My father passed away earlier this year from pancreatic cancer, so I know it must be a difficult time for you. I take solace in the fact that I know my Dad has found some peace and that he will always be with me in my heart.

Wendy, I too want say I'm so sorry for your loss. My husband lost his father to lung cancer the week before Thanksgiving last year. I know how hard that loss can be around the holidays. We found solace in each other, as I'm sure you will, and in knowing that he was no longer suffering. You are in my thoughts.

Looks to me like a recount is in order.... Might take a week or two, but you know, there seemed to be some confusion, we are not completely certain that everyone's vote was recorded just as they meant.
