I was just looking at the Yahoo home page and noticed their listing of Today's Top Searches. Here's the list
1 - Matt Damon
2 - Judith Regan
3 - Project Runway
4 - 2007 LA Auto Show
5 - Thanksgiving Recipes
6 - C.C. Sabathia
7 - Ellen Pompeo
8 - Boy George
9 - UFOs
10 - I'm Not There
Are there really millions of people searching for the 2007 LA Auto Show? Boy George? And what the heck is with I'm Not There?
I'm just having a hard time believing there are millions of people searching for these people/things.

Boy George is in some trouble for meeting a guy on a gay dating site, handcuffing him to the bed, and leaving to go get milk.

Damon is number one because he's been announced as People magazine's Sexiest Man of the Year!
Are they kidding me?????
In his favor, it's been reported he wrote them and demurred, suggesting they replace him with QB Tom Brady.
Judith Regan (the force behind OJ's "If I Did It" and a big gun in publishing) is suing Fox News, saying she was fired because she refused to shut her mouth about Bernie Kerik and has things to say that could be harmful to Giuliani's presidential campaign. I'm not sure how anyone missed this story. Maybe it's still "too New York."

Matt Damon is a good actor and he seems like a nice guy. Not the most attractive candidate.
I think the story is "too New York" because I didn't hear a thing about it.
Hey, hey. Back off the Damon. He does it for me. Just keep your negative opions to yourself about the guy. ;) :D

Yea, the top searches always reflect something trendy or newsworthy. People usually hear something and turn to the internet to find out more. Ultimate advertising medium.
