I am finally biting the bullet and trying this recipe. Has anyone tried this? If so, any comments?

Kathy- I made it. The sauce was "soupier" than I thought it should be. I may have cooked the plums at either a higher temperature or for a longer period. Anyhow, it wasn't my favorite, despite great ingredient list.

Cathie, Thanks for your response! You are right, the ingredients look great! I think I expected a creamy sauce; sounds disappointing! Thanks for saving me the trouble! Do you think there is any way to salvage the recipe or is it too far gone?

Kathy, yes, the ingredients are interesting and I went out on a limb when I tried it. The flavor was good, though the plums were a little too tangy (I love plums)with the other flavors happening. It was not good enough for me to make again. My advice, try another recipe to out on a limb on.

KATHY- As long as you bought the ingredients, try adding a bit more ginger, cook the plums a bit less and maybe do something to thicken up the sauce a bit, I thought if the sauce were more like a glaze with the plums "draped" it would be improved.

Which one? Where did you find it?

Mike, I am not sure which issue it was in because I ripped it out of an old one and lost it. I found it on this site this morning:

Curried Chicken with plums and ginger

2 T All-purpose flour
1 t curry powder
1 t poultry seasoning
1/4 t salt
1/4 t black pepper
6 skinned, boned chicken thighs cut into 3 pieces
1 t vegetable oil
1 cup sliced green onions
6 red plums, quartered
3/4 cup dry white wine, divided
2 T minced crystallized ginger

Do you have another?
