It's not often that I repeat an exact recipe -- it has to be pretty stellar for me to not mess around with it, make a variation, etc.
But you four have given me some awesome recipes, and I just wanted to give you all a big hug for my new favorites. :)
RunnerKim, I would not know what I would do without your wheat pizza dough -- it's so, so delicious, and I do believe I can't count on both hands how many times I've used it.
Valerie, ohmygosh, your Eggplant Pizza is to-die-for; I rave about it to everyone, and I can't wait to make it again. Leonard, the Epicurious recipe for Toasted Barley and Asparagus risotto you posted is one of my favorites.
Missi, your Grilled Asparagus recipe is now my standby -- after I ran it off, I made it at least once a week for about a month.

Anyway, thanks again, y'all!

Emilycat - could you share the whole wheat pizza dough recipe?

P.S. We've recently switched to whole wheat pasta thanks to you! :)

Yea! I'm so pleased!
This is so easy; I just toss the ingredients in the bread machine and use the dough cycle. I have modified the proportions a bit, though -- I use 1 1/2 cups each of whole wheat and white.

1 cup wrist-temperature water
1 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 t. active dry yeast

Per Kim's advice, I let it rest a little while before shaping it. And the leftover dough freezes really well, also.

Emilycat, I'm so glad you find it useful. I'll also vary the proportions of WW to all-purpose, depending on the toppings or my mood. I'm probably crazy but I really think even a 1/2c of ww flour really helps make it easier to shape.

Last night we'd just gotten home from a 7 hour car trip and decided to make grilled pizza for dinner. I was too lazy to run to the basement to get a new bag of ww flour and just used all-purpose. Just not as good.

I just found out the BB is back!

I am glad you are enjoying that eggplant pizza, emily. I just made an eggplant lasagna last night, so I am in eggplant heaven again.
