HAS ANYONE TRIED THE BEEF, BEAN, AND CORNBREAD CASSEROLE FROM THE CL COMPLETE COOKBOOK? I COULDN'T FIND ANY REVIEWS WHEN I RAN A SEARCH.

Yes!
I have made that several times. It is a favorite with my two teenage boys. If you like all those ingredients, you will like it. It is not too spicy, just hearty and filling. We really like this best in the fall or winter, when it is cold outside. I serve it with a salad and fruit. I usually add extra spices to CL recipes, but I honestly can't remember if this is one of them.
Anyway, it is definitely worth a try. Goes together pretty quickly, too.
