I got my electic bill today and it was about $20.00 less than expected. Thought perhaps I overpayed last month. Perused the bill further and they gave me a Summer Saver Discount of $17.36 :D Guess I was a good girl this summer. I had no idea this program was in place. Do your electric companies offer anything like this?

I have no air conditioner

Our electric company has never done that, but our car insurance company does give us a bit of money back each year - usually about $75 or more.

Our electric company (PPL) did send us two compact fluorescent light bulbs for filling out a survey though. :)

I read in the Torrington Register that Connecticut Light and Power and another utility company offered consumers that program this past year.

My little town has their own municipal light and power plant and supplies electricity to our town and part of a contiguous town as well. If you pay your bill by a certain date each month you get a discount (just under 10%). I love it!!! :D Their service is great -- I can count on 1 hand brownouts or blackouts for the 35 years I've been living here -- as opposed to the large city I lived in previously which had a big name company supply their electricity and we were always experiencing power outages.
