I made this last night and thought it was delicious. Very different from other cornbread recipes I have tried before. The molasses gave it a very distinct flavor and a darker color. Someone had mentioned that it was too sweet for them, but I liked the unique flavor. I used a can of roasted green peppers instead of the jalapenos. My husband said it was the best cornbread he has ever had (his rating: 8.9/10) and he even had some for breakfast!

Thanks for your blessing on this, Peggy. I have been eyeing this and now that you have given it a good review, I know that I will like it too as our taste buds are "on the same page."
