Hello,
I have been a reader of Cokinglight for quite some time now, and have been using the website as well. I only recently found the boards and decided to join. You all seem like a friendly welcoming group. I am a stay at home mom and enjoy baking and cooking. I hope I can be a welcome addition to this web community.:)

Let me also mention that they just switched to this new BB format yesterday, so we are all still learning the new format.

This is indeed an unbelievably friendly, nice, helpful and knowledgeable group. So jump right in!! And again, Welcome!

Wow, I wish I had known about ChefTalk.com last week! I was just checking it out. It looks pretty cool, but kind of intimidating because of all of the different headings you can choose from. Where do you start?

Welcome - OMG hasn't this been awful - talk about 'withdrawal' symptoms, and thought there were computer problems OMBH - so happy everything is back!

Welcome! I just checked out the link you posted, their BB does look a lot like the one here. I'm going there now to read more. But, I know you will love it here, the people are wonderful, and the recipes are outstanding!

Just jump into a thread that is of interest. I enjoy the recipe exchange for sharing and asking questions. They have a section about pasteries and baking that has been very useful. and also a new feature is the "Chef's Garden" that is a great resource for begginer gardeners. The boards there have a mix of Chefs, Home cooks, Culinary students, and Caterers. :)
