What's the trick to "searching" with the new BB?

I was trying to find some old recipes that I new were posted on the BB and couldn't come up with anything. I typed in chewy chocolate chip cookie for example and it found every thread with chewy * chocolate * chip etc. Can anyone help me out? TIA

Did you try searching just for chewy chocolate chip as title? I did and came up with exactly one response to my search.

Also, the default is set to search all active forums. Unless you think the recipe is in the archives, use the drop-down menu and just search Great Foods.

In addition, if you have some idea when the recipe was posted, you can narrow things by using the drop down menu having to do with posting date.

Just so you're aware, it appears items formerly archived in either the General Archives or FAQ Archive have been restored to the active forum. This means when you run a search, you're now given access to some older threads which we used to have to go fishing for through the archives.
