Looking for input on new oven

We are going to buy a new oven. We are going to be selling our house in a few months (hopefully) and so the oven needs to be something that *most* people would like. That said, would you rather have a standard electric or a glass surface? I am leaning towards getting the glass surface because it will be super easy to keep clean for showings.

Personally, I prefer gas. ;) However, if electric is the only option, I would probably go with the glass cooktop. I still don't love mine, and never will, but I prefer it to the electric coils. Yuck.

Gas or propane but if I had to pick electric, I'd go induction or old coil (they heat up the fastest compared to the glass)--plus it won't scratch.

Whatever you choose, stay away from black. Its impossible to keep it looking nice if you do any cooking at all. Streak, streak, streak.

I really want something that will be easy to clean on a moments notice if a realtor wants to stop by. I also thought the glass top looks *nicer* too.

How badly do the glass top ranges scratch? I have All-Clad pans. We use our stove at least 2 times a day and sometimes maybe 3 so it does get a lot of use. Could the top by all scratched up in a couple of weeks????
