Could someone help me out by email or otherwise with nutritional info in Mastercook?? When I insert my Cookpac files into Mastercook, the nutritional info is not forwarded, and mastercook's is totally wrong, usually listed many unknown ingredients and far less calories. Thanks to anyone willing to help me out.

I think you have to put them in manually. MasterCook is a software made by Sierra, not by CL, so they have nothing to do with any problems with the software.
The software that CL promotes is the CookWare software, and the nutrional analysis section is a data section only (it can't calculate - just copies the numbers from the cookpacs or whatever you type in the field if you're typing in a recipe). If you type in a recipe without knowing the nutritional figures, it cannot calculate it for you, it would just remain blank. Some people see this as a negative to the software, but I like it because it seems the MasterCook software is so often inaccurate in its calculations.
Sorry there isn't a better answer for you. I guess it's a tradeoff, because MasterCook does have some other great features.

Joyce and Grace, thanks for bringing this up. I didn't realize that the nutritional values aren't listed in the cookpacs if you download to Mastercook.(Excluding what Mastercook gives you)
Fortunatley, I downloaded to Cookware and Mastercook so at least I can retrieve the info. That is a real bummer with Mastercook, however like you say Grace there is a trade-off.

I noticed this a while ago about Mastercook. The problem is the Cookpac recipes don't have all the ingredients entered so that they are recognized by Mastercook. If MC doesn't recognize an ingredient, it skips it in the nutritional information calculations. I wish there was a way to have Mastercook revert to already-calculated nutritional values if they're already included in the recipe, but I don't think there is. For my favorite recipes, I edit the ingredients (or add ingredients with nutritional information to MC's list) so the nutritional information computes correctly.
