I am giving pancake mix and syrup along with a Starbucks gift card to DS's preschool teachers. I was thinking of including some of the foamy soap from Bath and Body Works but it doesn't really fit in with my theme.
What do you think? Include the soap or not?

Maybe do it in a sweet scent like Vanilla Sugar to help tie it in? Although, I don't like sweet smelling soap so maybe not.

You could pair the scent up with the gift ...
Warm Vanilla Sugar
Warm Chestnut Cheer
Brown Sugar and Fig
Vanilla Bean Noel (my personal favorite, I stock up around Christmas)
Ooh! Or, since it's pancake syrup and Starbucks, you could go with a "Early morning wakeup" kind of theme ...
Pink Grapefruit
Fresh Pineapple
Mango Mandarin

Personally, I think the pancake mix, syrup, and Starbucks gc make a nice gift. I don't think I'd be compelled to add anything else. I'd save the soap for the next gift occasion.

I agree. If you wanted to do something more, I would just add more to the Starbuck's card, but I would skip the soap. What an excellent idea though - I may have to borrow that idea for my teacher gifts next year! :)
