Does anyone have a club established in Raleigh -- or interested in joining one? My husband and I are eager to get together with neighbors who enjoy trying new foods! Making new friends with similar interests is our resolution for 2008. Hope to hear from you soon.

I'm interested, let's hope we can get it off the ground. There's a few folks that were interested in the past, I can PM them and see if they're still around/interested.
Merry Christmas!

I'm interested in starting a club in Durham, interested?

Sharon:
Did you have any luck connecting with others in our area? I'm hopeful we can start something here.
EFriedman:
Sorry, but I'm not sure I'd participate in Durham -- my husband commutes there daily and likely would not want to return again for a dinner. Any chance you could be persuaded to visit in Raleigh?

I would consider coming to Raleigh, sure. I am a (newly) single woman though, and am not sure about a club that is entirely made up of couples. Let's see who else is interested.

I don't mean for this to be a "couples" club. I'm hoping for a diverse group that enjoys cooking and good company. Please pass the word to anyone you think might be interested!
Hope you enjoy a very happy new year.

No answer from the other folks yet, but most haven't been active on this board, so may not check often.
I'm married, but hubby wouldn't be a part of the club (except when I host). I'm the chef in the family, he's the taster.

Are y'all still interested in forming a club locally? With the four of us, that might be a decent start.

Did you manage to get a supper club started? We are new to the area and would like to join and help out!

Sorry Phil, I never heard from anyone else in the area to get anything going.
