Correct me if I am wrong - but I have not in the longest time noticed 'Ed' around - you know when you think someone/something is always there and then...hmmmm....gee haven't seen him around for a while.....well just wondering where Ed is...........afterall....................isn't he the 'Gail - Male' counterpart.......at least that is how I have always looked at these two with their very interesting, well written witty comments.
Mister Ed - hope to see you soon :)
N.B. Would be the same if Emily were to be absent...........for too long..... :)

I thought I saw an "Ed" under Matt's post. Check out the "members" button, search his name and it will show you if he has appeared.
Ed was in hiding a few months ago, and came out of hiding from a similar post. He should be flattered he is missed.:D
He's here, Lanie. I've seen at least a couple of messages from him, one quite amusing. I think it was under "Our New Titles" or some such thing relating to the new board.

Yes, he saw Gail's title of BB Goddess, and thought at first it was the new titles assigned by the BB automatically when you reached as certain number of posts. He was very worried about reaching that number and having BB Goddess put under HIS name! :D
Hi Lanie, and everyone,
Yes I'm here and doing fine, thanks for asking about me, and Funnybone, I am flattered that you all would miss me enough to post a question about where I am.
Sharon and I are doing fine, we've been quite busy lately and we're looking forward to a little break in the activity, (especially Sharon is.)
When I saw the title "Mister Ed" in the post I thought it was for someone else until I clicked on it, thank you so much for thinking of me.
That "Mister Ed" used to be my "Handle" on the CB years ago, and I wanted to get it on a Vanity Plate for the car, but according to the state, it was already taken. Many years later after being transferred out of state, and finally being able to move back to Minnesota, we moved to the Brainerd Lakes area, and in the town of Motley MN, about 15 miles from our home, there was a "Mister Ed's" restaurant, one day I went there for lunch and there it was -- a nice car with Mr. Ed on the license plates -- I went in and had a fine lunch and met the owner who liked to be called Mr. Ed. He was a fine fellow.
I have been called that, and I suspect every Ed has, ever since that Mr. Ed TV show started. I never minded being called that, in fact I kind of liked it, as long as they didn't refer to which end of the Horse they were talking to.
When you have a name like "Ed," it's hard to get a nickname, but then when I was a kid it was easy to learn to spell my name.
Over the years I have also been called; Big Ed; Smiling Ed; and Mr. Ed, I always answer to all of them.
Back when I was a kid there was a record out called "Eddie My Love," I was hoping that would catch on with the girls, but it didn't, so now I'm just Ed.
I sure am glad to be able to "talk" with you fine folks on the BB again, there was a long time when I couldn't get on, and if I got on couldn't post.
I sure do like this BB and all of you who write in to it.
Best wishes to all of you, and happy cooking.
Ed
