Hi, all! Did some yoga yesterday, but that was all I got in. Today, 60 min on the TM, then walked another 10 since I was watching a good movie (Cinderella Man). Then I sat down and folded laundry and wrapped packages while I watched the rest of it! :p
What are you up to today?

Hi Kathy, 60 minutes on the trainer this morning while watching VH1 Jump Start. First time I watched VH1 in years and it's not the format I remember but still good for killing time.

I did about 40 minutes of weights yesterday followed by 20 minute of cardio. I had hoped to go today but ran out of hours in the day. I'll be there tomorrow though.

40 minutes of TM for me today. I would have liked to have done more, but the kids only had a half day, and I had some things I wanted to get done before they got home.
Kim, what is VH1? Do you mean a VHS movie? (I am techno challenged, so if it's a dumb question, please ignore me!)
Did you get something in today, Melanie? Anyone else?

I successfully made it to the gym tonight. My goal was a cycling class taught by my favorite instructor. I've been in class on Tuesdays ALL semester and this was my first chance. I got there early only to find out all the bikes were already reserved, but we decided that some people in the warm-up/beginner half-hour would leave....only to find out the instructor was sick and there was a sub. <sigh> I did 40 minutes on the treadmill.
Anyone next?

I'm about to go get on the trainer. Kathy - don't worry VH1 is a channel, like MTV - video music; it used to be mellow rock but the other day it was playing a lot of R&B and rap. We get four video music channels and by the afternoon none of them seem to play music  which I like watching/listening when I'm working out.

Oh, that does sound kind of familiar actually. We have a few music channels, too, but I generally opt for a recorded movie or a Law and Order rerun. It's surprising how many of the "reruns" I haven't seen.
60 min on the TM for me today.
Anyone else?

Back to report some yoga this AM. Not my usual short show, today it was Inhale with Steve Ross.

Good work everyone!
I'm skulking back in after being MIA for a while:p Today was 40 minutes on the elliptical with some ab work afterward. The boys had their last final today, so I will (thankfully) have some extra motivation to get to the gym during the next two weeks!

I did 40 minutes on the Wave cardio machine last night and did a full workout with weights this morning.

I can't wait until Christmas is offically over. There are just too many social commitments during this time of year and I don't get how everyone has the time daily for 1-2 hour workouts right now. Heck, I have time issues all year round.
The flu is going around at work and at home, so we've been sick for a week now. I missed all play time and 2 days of my morning yoga but the moment I felt good enough I started up again. I really do feel better although not back to myself yet. Next week I'm off on vacation so I hope to make up for lost time. :)

Spaghetti legs! I have spaghetti legs - did 40 minutes working with a trainer in the gym - and my legs feel like mush. Now I need to have some lunch and go get on the bike for an hour; hope I can pedal.

Did another longer yoga session this AM, and I just finished 45 min on the TM with a few intervals thrown in.
No need to skulk, Sheila, we all go AWOL once in a while! :D Good job on the elliptical and abs. I need to get back to doing abs...
DmOrtega, sorry things are stressful for you right now. It probably is just as well you took a break from exercise if you have been sick with the flu. Take it slow as you start back up again. And enjoy your week off! :)
Good job on your workouts Melanie and Spaghetti legs! ;)

Today I did "the treadmill workout" from Fitness and upper-body weights. I'm fairly sure I'll be sore in the morning;)

I did the Friday night yoga class. I had forgotten what it felt like to do a full workout the day prior to yoga. "No, don't worry...that sound of someone in pain is only the person at the end of the row." :D Ouch! But what a great class!
Good going everyone else from Spaghetti Legs to Kathy to the no-long-MIA-Sheila and anyone I didn't remember to name. :D
