Seriously......I've been dizzy for about an hour, AFTER I ate a huge peanut butter cookie that a vendor brought in.....not just your everyday cookie, this was a 747!

Would a sugar buzz do this?

I've never understood the term "sugar buzz" but some people are very sensitive to carbs/sugar.
If you are diabetic or have impaired glucose or higher fasting glucose readings and have previously had reactive hypoglycemia, then yes, one big cookie can do that to you.

You can get blood sugar testing supplies fairly cheaply, especially if you have insurance.
This could have been a one-time incident and won't happen again, but I tend to be over-cautious on this stuff and would just go have it checked.

Best to you!

I was just concerned because I never get dizzy. I do have blood sugar issues, but only when I don't eat.

Weird.....

Plus there's no one here with a test kit, my boss always carries one, but she's out today.

If you are shakey, then your glucose has plummeted and you need to eat something. If you are dizzy, you could have very high blood sugar. Drink a few glasses of water over the next hour to help dilute the sugar.

Of course, it could be anything and totally unrelated to the cookie, so don't listen to me...I'm a worrier :o
