Ah, Mrs. Sundberg!
I confess that I'd not read her column since I posted about it myself, in the fall, but it was good to read her words again tonight.
How is it possible that she seems/feels so grandmotherly and wise, and yet writes of her obviously very young children? Maybe she really is a rural Minnesotan keeper of the hearth, and maybe her world view lives on there? Or perhaps she's just a good writer, inviting us into a different -calming and comforting and invented- world.
