Happy Holidays!

All the gifts are wrapped and food purchased, so I had no excuse to skip working out today:p Quick warm up on the bike, then weights.

Anyone else working out?

Hi there! I haven't posted in so long, but I've been working out 2-3 times a week. Today I went for a nice outdoor run, 3 miles, in my Santa hat.

Next?

Doing 19 reps daily, this week, for the 5 Tibetan Rites yoga routine. I can't believe I was doing only 3 many weeks ago. Feeling good after 2 weeks of the flu. Nordic walking, at least twice this week, field hockey, racqetball, and hmmm ... maybe some bowling. :D

Martha, I love that idea of running while wearing a Santa hat. :D

I did 40 minutes on the treadmill yesterday morning. This morning, I did a full workout with weights.

I still need to try those Tibetan Yoga poses....as well as the treadmill workout that was posted a few weeks ago. Time flies!

Who's next?!?

Great workouts everyone, and good to see you Martha! :)

Nothing today or Sunday exercise-wise as we had family get-togethers both days, but yesterday I got in about 50 min on the TM.

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

(Back to the TM tomorrow, I promise! :D )

I did 60 minutes on the Stairmill this morning. I thought I was going to die!!

I tried to do crutches on the stability ball when I finished, but I was dizzy and the gym was spinning. I went to the locker and ate my post workout snack and then showered.

I did 40 minutes on the treadmill tonight. Who's next to post?

(Good going with those workouts, everyone!)

50 min on the TM for me today, too.

Tigermorris, was your workout longer than usual, or did you forget to eat breakfast? What do you think happened? Hope it was all fine after you had your snack.

Well, best laid plans.... things didn't work out the way we planned them last night, but it's all good - after all, it's vacation:p The boys and I did get out and do some shoveling, and they went on to take care of the elderly neighbor next door's driveway and sidewalks.

So the short answer is I got a little exercise and some Vitamin D all at once:D

What nice kids you have, Sheila! :)

Yoga for me this AM, and later 50 min on the TM.

Thanks, Kathy! They do have their moments, though:eek:

Today I did some "alone" shopping to use some of the gift cards I received for Christmas. I did just manage to do some of my Pilates DVD before changing into my beloved fleece pants and hoodie for the evening:)

I went to an advanced yoga class tonight. Excellent class, but someone has been eating entirely too many Christmas snacks. It's time to get serious and get rid of a few pounds. I prefer to bend easily during yoga and not moaning and groaning! :o

I couldn't go to my regular Friday night yoga tonight but went to Pilates this morning. The good news is that the best Pilates instructor taught it. The bad news is that she only teaches during the day, and I won't get a chance to take her class again for a very long time. I definitely enjoyed it!!

Who's next!

That's too bad about your favorite teacher, Melanie. Doesn't she know she should be checking with you before scheduling classes?;)

Today I warmed up on the bike and stair climber (forgot how much fun that it:rolleyes: ) then did upper-body weights.

Not sure if I'm still on the right week here, but today I went for a 3.5 mile run, my longest in forever. I LOVE running in the 30 - 40 degree weather, which is where we are this week.

I had also read the latest Runners' World cover to cover before going to bed last night, and it always inspires me.

I have been slacking my exercise:( and think if I have an exercise buddy that I report to that I will do much better. Anyone interested.
