Is there a technical problem on the board with the avatars? It appears that some work, some don't, and I can't get anywhere with it. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a glitch that's being worked out. Please let us know if there's a technical problem so I can stop banging my head against the wall trying to figure out if it's on my end.

If it helps, I followed your instructions, and selected "Browse" to point to a .gif on my computer. It had a long file name and that didn't work, so I renamed it to not exceed 8 characters and that didn't work either. It was an animated .gif of 11KB. That file size should be fine, but just in case I changed it to a non-animated .gif of only 2KB, but that also didn't work. My next effort will be to post it on a webpage and point to a URL, but I didn't want to go through all that if the problem is not on my end. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough! :eek:

You can't use images from your hard drive. You can only use images that are already live on another website or a web server.

So yes, try pointing to one already on a web site, web page, web server somewhere out there in cyber space and you should be fine as long as it is smaller than 50x50 pixels and doesn't exceed 20k.

Also, we'll be posting maybe 100 or so options to choose from as well so maybe one of those would work for you. Good luck and have fun!:D
