Has anyone tried this recipe? It looks great. It sounds like a salad version of Pad Thai minus the shrimp and fish sauce. I thought the dressing looked really tastey.

Although I enjoy vegetarian fare, I was thinking of adding some steamed shrimp to this dish to make it even more like pad thai. I have all the requisit fresh herbs in my garden (even the mint!), so I think I'll give it a whirl this weekend.

Any reviews or opinions?

Thanks, Renée

I've never made this, but I look forward to seeing your review after the weekend.

I have not made this salad, but my cooking buddy did and she thought it was very bland. She said it was not a repeater.

I'll put in another plug for the Curried Couscous :)

I made this salad last week. It was good, but not fantastic. Probably not a repeater here, because I have made similar recipes with more flavor. I added some bay shrimp to it and served it as a main course.

Let us know what you think!

Well, I made this yesterday and I liked it. I used more herbs than the recipe called for and that really added to the flavor. I served it with grilled salmon and it was an nice accompaniment. My green grocer's bean sprouts were past their prime, so I opted for shredded cabbage and I liked the added crunch. I also used whole wheat pasta. These 3 changes made the dish worth repeating.
