Does anyone remember the issue that had about 6 different grilling marrinades in it. I thought it was summer of 99 but couldn't find it.

PS I heard my niece cry over the phone this morning and I get to see her tomorrow -- she and mommy are home from the hospital and healthy (if not tired)

I think the one you mean was just this year. The June issue had several recipes for sauces you can grill with.

Hi. When I read your post I recalled several yrs ago a great article about RPM rubs, poastes and marinades, well I looked in my annuals & found it Its in the 1998 annual -page 217 to 220, which means this appered in July 1997. It had Alsatic rub, Asian rub, Mediterranean, Bayou, Fire & Spice. In the Paste category Sweet curry, Sweet fennel, Middle Eastern orange paste , Chile paste & French twist paste. In the marinades they had Jalapeno lime, Ginger molasses, Zesty Dijon, Garlic & Burgundy & Lemon herb.
More recently last yr in June 2000 that issue had the chipotle marinated pork chops with chimichurri sauice, hot and spicy asian rubbed chicken,spicy ranch chicken wraps, TEzas dry rub slow grilled turkey breast. Just mentioning some in case it sound familiar. If not my best advice is to concentrate if its BBQ rubs or marinades in the summer issues of CL.

I seem to remember a pineapple chipotle -- maybe it wasn't cooking light but one of my other cooking mags. Thanks for your help Vanessa!!
