how do I stop the e-mails?!?!?!

Please, can anyone help me out here? I am sick of getting an e-mail every single time someone replies to a post that I replied to. :(

This may very well have been addressed already, but I'm not very board-savvy. Please help, it's driving me nuts!

Click on "user cp" button at the top, then click on "edit options" and then, next to the 6th option on that page (Use 'Email Notification' by default) click on "No" to turn email notification off.

This is buried in several threads, but here you go so anyone with the same problem can find it easily:

Near the top center of your screen, find the botton labelled "user cp" and click on it. On the new screen, in the beige bar below the user cp button and above the private messages line, find "edit options" and click on that. In the E-mail and notification section of the next screen, the third option is whether to default to e-mail notification. It is currently set as YES, so click on NO and go to the bottom of the screen to click on submit modifications. You should stop getting new email notices. Then, if you want them for a particular thread only, you have the option near the bottom center of the screen, above the submit button, to select yes for that thread.
