Opinions? Has anyone used them? I'm on the fence on whether they seem like a viable product or if they are just silliness.
Here's a link for those that haven't seen them: www.buykinoki.com
I saw these on a commercial a couple of nights ago and...I don't know what to think. I'm not sure if I want them because they have a commercial or because it might be a better way to detox the system than ingesting strange maple syrup and lemon juice drinks.
Anyway, if anyone has experience with them, let me know.

Another question about this was posted earlier:

PLEASE don't waste your money on these, and PLEASE don't waste your time on stupid "detox" conconctions. If you have a toxin buildup in your body, you need immediate medical attention, not a special drink or hocus-pocus product.

They sound ridiculous to me.

Ah, thank you. Now how do I get the moderators to delete this duplicate thread?

I didn't see the other thread either, just saw the commercial last night for the first time. I laughed myself silly when I saw it.

Or join the two together?

Why do you feel your system needs to be detoxified with ANYTHING -- maple syrup/lemon juice OR foot pads?
And none of the above work because the body doesn't NEED to be detoxified -- and if it by chance there is really something TOXIC in your body that needs to be expelled, you need something more than voodoo science to help.

I watched that commercial, mouth agape, wondering why on earth they'd expect anyone to believe that these things work. Leeching toxins out thru your feet???

Anyone else have this creepy feeling thinking about walking around on mucous?

Now you see what I'm sayin.... :D
To answer one of the above questions, I didn't realize I needed to be detoxified until this commercial showed me that black gunk lives in my feet and can slowly be leeched out by these miracle foot pads. As I become detoxified it will turn a lighter shade of brown then yellow then clean sparkling white and, let's face it, who wants to live with stored up black foot gunk? Not to mention that if I hurried and ordered now, they'd kindly double my order and keep sending me this secret key to perfect health free for LIFE.
So then I looked up detoxifying the system to see if there was an easier way because it seems like I'd want black foot gunk removed a little more urgently than to allow 6 weeks for shipping and handling, and that's when I found the maple syrup/lemon juice master cleanse diet. I didn't realize I needed that either, but it sounds way more complicated and nasty than slapping a giant ionized bandaid on my feet and then taking a nap.
So in the end, the verdict on these things is silliness?

That's exactly how I felt and I'm the other thread starter:o! And I was wondering what I can do to get rid of all these "toxins" and had too agree 100% with one of the replies, YOU POO! I'm relieved;) :D. Thanks!

You are absolutely right -- I had meant to convey that a normally functioning body doesn't need outside means to "detoxify" and if the systems are failing in this manner, voodoo science is certainly not the answer.
Quack medicines have for centuries made money from people's lack of understanding of basic biological principles -- idiotic diets based on the idea that the body can't digest fruit and protein (for example) at the same time.:D

When I saw the commercial, my first thought was to throw up and then tell those people to wash their feet!
Ditto the kidney remark. I would think that if you had a serious toxin issue that you'd seek the help of a medical professional and NOT an infomercial!!
